At Mischief & Margins, we make tees for people whose cat has basically become a personality trait.
Founded in 2025, we exist for the cat people, book hoarders, coffee addicts, and chronically sarcastic, the ones who've stopped apologizing for their cold coffee, their unread book pile, and doing exactly enough. Our mission isn't just "stylish and comfortable" (though we've got that covered); it's making stuff that actually sounds like the way our people talk.
We get that a t-shirt is basically a walking inside joke. That's why every design starts with something real, a cat crime, a 2am group-chat moment, a margin note scribbled in a book, not a generic quote that could go on a "Live, Laugh, Love" sign. If it doesn't make us laugh first, it doesn't make the cut.
Quality still matters, obviously; soft fabric, holds up wash after wash, doesn't fall apart the third time your cat sits on it. But comfort was never the whole story here. We're small-batch on purpose: nothing gets made until someone actually wants it, which means less waste and more "wait, how did you know this was exactly my humor?"
As we grow, the goal stays the same, cozy, funny, slightly feral, and always a little too relatable.
